Liz Ratcliffe

I have been very disappointed with the 2022/23 autumn season so far. I have every sympathy with Jeremy Paxman and his illness but his diction is now very indistinct and we are increasingly unable both to hear his questions and, depending on the team, the answers they give. It seems there is an echo which is not resolved by turning up the volume. Neither of us suffers from hearing problems. I think Jeremy Paxman should retire, as I suspect the audio has been adjusted to compensate for his slurred diction. The overall effect is lack of clarity which completely spoils the programme gor us, the sudience.
