Benny Markfield

Wan is a terrible director. All of the actors just recited their lines. 90% of the dialogue was bad. None of the outdoor scenes looked like they were actually outside. The CGI movements were videogame quality and the CGI make-up was very bad in some places. All of the underwater sets were over designed and over textured. Most of the story was unclear. With the exception of the submarine fight, the other fights were like watching Transformers. Ditto for the battle scenes. Pop music was astonishingly bad.
