TW: Dark themes I usually dont write reviews because I dont care enough to deticate three minutes to it but oh my god this movie is amazing. This story is personal and gut wretching, the actors in my opinion were amazing because I really and I mean REALLY hated two of the charecters and loved two of the other ones, I got attached to them and I audibly gasped at the end. I usually find movies predictable and boring but this is by far one of the best I have ever seen. The portrayl of a small town and its dynamics and the distrust between them beautiful. Especially how in times of hysteria people often are more suseptible to insanity and cult like behaviour is amazing. SPOILER: in the middle of the movies one of the side charecters kills themselves and that just shows the realism of the movies and the stress eventually killing herslef. The monsters were unrealistic but I enjoyed them in an 80's type horror movie way. Interesting to say the least and you can really root for the charecters, although I thought it was unrealistic that the main charecter did not worry about his wife. Other than that a frustratingly amazing movie that lures you in and makes you feel happy, angry, sad and all the emotions in between.
