There are very few sci-fi series out there that warrant a second viewing of the entire series as this one. Once The Expanse airs it's last episode (hopefully not for quite some time), that I will look forward to starting all over with S1E1 and watch the entire thing so over again. I would rather this series up there with another sci-fi series like the rebooted BSG series, of which whichever I've watched the times already. Like BSG, the space and space flight physics are perfectly portrayed, not like the Star Wars movies that have ships fly through space like an airplane through atmosphere. That being said, with everything else this series portrays space-related is done so as realistically as possible. CGI is fantastic and gets better as the seasons progress. Acting is great. The storyline, subplots are deep and branching, interesting and rewarding. I hope that this series continues on for years to come. It is extremely entertaining, gripping, fun, all of that.

The premise of the film is quite far-reaching, but it's the subject and constant backdrop of this film. The CGI is outstanding, imaginative and done as well as any other big budget A-list movie (and better). Characters are developed with enough backstory or from the actors themselves to get you to understand or care enough about them as actual people. To date, I think this is one of Gerard's best performances yet. The movie has a few things and some scientific inaccuracies, but that would make for a boring film. Instead of people running from a raging -90 degree storm front, science would have the temperature dropping over a matter of weeks/months, giving ppl ample time to find a job, buy a house elsewhere and move there. This also doesn't support the fact that *spoiler* the system is being hijacked to become a weapon. In any event, it was a fun watch, good acting, and some really well done CGI and creativity.

This is a bit of a break from the typical zombie apocalypse series of which we've been accustomed. This isn't TWD/FTWD, Z Nation, 28Days... This is a fresh, but expected type of Z series. The Z's move quick, freshies turn Z fairly quickly, it appears that head shots are one and done, and the Z's are fairly stupid, but seem to be able to develope cognitive reason we're motor activities are concerned. This series has a bunch of great twists and turns, where you can throw the expected right out the window. In fact, no one in this series is safe. Expect the unexpected! The series showcases humanity's flaws and priorities, especially when the poop hits the fan. For now, the episodes are of sporadic lengths, some close to only 20mins. long, but they resolve the short term chapter before rolling credits. Some minor cliff hangers, though, which lends to binge watching -which is fine by me. The series doesn't have a massive studio budget, but what they have to work with is put to good use. Season 2 is coming and hopefully a bigger budget will come with it, so they can expand upon their already great storyline. Some small issues with the military portrayals, but nothing big enough to alter the context of the story. I look forward to season 2 and hopefully more from this production.

I had to read several reviews before I realized that I had actually seen this movie. That's how forgettable it is.
