My second favourite game of all time, and favourite Souls Game. Demons Souls was the first Souls game I ever played, and after now having beaten them all, I am still in love with this game. Nothing can compare to my first time playing this game and learning the games mechanics, it required hours of play and reading up on lore and the wiki to fully grasp what this game is. Of course the game lacks a decisive plot (like all souls games), but makes up for it ten-fold with atmosphere, action, music and the mystery unfolding after every area completed. Demons souls is among the easiest of Soulsborne titles upon replaying but still keeps an underlying fear whenever stepping into the Flame Lurker or Maneaters boss fight. And this is what I love, this game encourages many different approaches and play-styles so you can find what feels right for you. There’s nothing more that I can say other than you should play this game and truly experience a mastery of gaming. 5/5 Perfect.
