I'm gonna say one thing to begin with: anyone that can rhyme "solopsists" in a song, let alone use it in a sentence, deserves some kind of respect. The music is precisely syncopated and the lyrics..well, you might need a degree. The lyrics are smart, intelligent. Sadie Dupuis has a sweetly seductive voice and the band produces the necessary style to accompany what can only be described as (I think I need a thesaurus),alternative. On the verge of indie rock with a hint of folk, just a pinch mind you. More melodic than Courtney Barnett, but adept in the turn of phrase, there is an ironic nuance. I have to give Rabbit Rabbit 4 stars because it's just so intellectual.
