The movie was and is a good Top Gun sequel. It's mostly entertaining. The reason I say this is Tom's tired performance. The evidence of his opposition to doing this film and the death of Tony Scott is very evident in his facial expressions and emotions. This is not the Mavrick from the first Top Gun A emotions
