Nancy Goepfert

If I had not read the books or watched the 1978 series, I would probably like this version better, but alas, it pales in comparison. The lively focus on the tough farmers and hilarious character interactions are replaced by todays modern need for drama. While there is a passing nod to the stories, all who only see this version are missing so much! Sad.
