Freddy Manby

Hugely confusing script which assumed the audience knew the story already; too many characters; too much display of swirling lights; far too long and far too bloody noisy with unnecessary music drowning out the dialogue. I saw it at Penzance’s Savoy where the sound effects were at what seemed maximum volume, at times even masking the rattle of munching popcorn from the seats in front.
