The movie is VERY predictable, plodding, and 40 minutes too long. Without any transition, the humans morph from primitive beings to computer experts operating a SETI array. The shallow "cliffhanger" ending is clearly designed to prime the pump for the next Planet of the Ape release.
The graphics were very good.
