Its very empowering when you have control over your own health and life. Getting a diagnosis of Osteoporosis or Osteopenia can make you feel vulnerable and breakable and not in control. There is hope and with lifestyle and behavioral shifts to get stronger bones, muscles and mindset through our diet and yoga. I have been teaching Safe Yoga for Osteoporosis since 2014 and many of my students have gained strength, improved posture and balance and increased their bone density. Rebuild Your Bones is a terrific book to help explain how food and supplementation is so necessary to supply the body with what it needs to build bones. I have added this book as a recommendation in all my workshops and classes I teach!
