I don’t think I ever really got past the part where Jodi Picoult (and this other random?) literally painted a whole picture of an abusive relationship…and then wrote about Olivia dressing up for her abuser to ask him for money….?
It’s actually still a little sickening to me. And that is 1000% why I’m not even bothering to finish this book.
