Yes, the government made mistakes; there will always be mistakes in a dangerous and complex situation like that. Four of their own were murdered trying to serve a valid warrant for hand grenades and 60-caliber guns that were indeed stockpiled inside. Also, reports were coming from members who fled about the rape of underaged girls in the sect by Koresh (I don’t recall Jesus ever doing either of those things, nor avoiding prosecution by surrounding himself with women and children). The bottom line has always been that every single one of those people would be alive today if they had never met David Koresh.
