A neat spin on familiar turf, if nothing else. Props to those who reprise their roles from the cinematic MCU. Weird that a few opted out?

I'm a big fan of previous third person console rpgs, but Baldur's Gate 3 is my first experience with a turn based tabletop-style role-playing system. I'm having to endure a bit of a learning curve with this one, but frankly I am also enjoying the hell out of it. This game is exactly what the doctor had ordered for those suffering the extended wait for the next Dragon Age game. Even the times when I get clobbered in combat only to be slaughtered in the next aggressive encounter are genuinely fun and teach me things to be applied on my next interaction with this world. I don't mind the challenge and would recommend this game to any fan of heroic fantasy!
