The movie was not what I expected. Also, this movie is NOT appropriate for kids under 13. I saw a lot of little kids at our local theater. This movie is pretty dark in ways kids shouldn't be exposed to. The story is very flip-floppy and all over the place. I feel like there were too many ideas put into one movie. My friend and I left the theater not really wanting to ever watch it again. Plus, it's pretty hard to explain what it's about. I expected it to be like the cartoon barbie movies we had in our childhood, but in reality. I liked elements like how her clothes went on, and how she floated etc.... just wish it stuck with a more fun, light-hearted story, instead of such a deep and confusing one! The cast is really good, didn't really care for Ryan as Ken. Not worth the hype.
