Watched the original movie and it felt like two different stories. Reimagining it in a mini series feels way more cohesive and the story is far more sweeping and beautiful. Plus... Hugh Jackman in Wolverine shape with longer hair.

I got Static and Silence when I was in college and joined Columbia House. (There's a throwback for you, huh?) Keep in mind, this was back in the day when you would buy a CD because you liked the single that was playing on the radio and pray that the rest of the album wouldn't suck. The Sundays totally came through on this one. Static and Silence was one of the best buys of that original batch of CDs. In fact, I still own it. And I still pull it out when I need to reminisce on simpler times.

This was the constant soundtrack to the paper writing days of my undergraduate degree. The perfect CD (yes, I said CD, shut up) to put on and just let play from start to finish.
