Monsta X becomes the first Korean group to release a full-length all English album with the release of All About Luv on 2/14/2020. Do not be fooled, this release does not sound like their prior, but just like all of their other albums and EPs, it can clearly stand on it's on. Although a different vibe than their previous albums with smooth beats, and softer lyrics, the vocals of the group still shine through. This album allowed each of the members to have very key moments. The rappers, I.M and Joohoney, of the group were able to showcase their baritone singing voices. Kihyun's lead vocal are always a powerful breath of fresh air on every and any song he sings. But on this album, fans will also be able to enjoy plenty of the other members handsome vocals. We also often get to hear the group leader Shownu's smooth voice combined with Wonho's on prior songs, yet listening to "You Can’t Hold My Heart" and "Misbehave" reminds clearly why Minhyuk and Hyungwon were also chosen for the original group back 2015 during the survival reality show No Mercy. Sometimes their vocal lines are limited during some their previous songs, however, as a listener it is definitely enjoyable to hear the men blend together this well. My picks are "You Can’t Hold My Heart", "Happy Without Me", and "Love U". (Who Do You Love would be up there but the French Montana feature ruins it -- the REMIX with Will.I.Am on the album definitely redeems the song!)

You can read the synopsis of the film easily but I loved the nuances of how the writers put the in historical knowledge of women's fight to work in corporate offices, and lack of higher education without making it seem preachy. The actresses were able to portray the characterization of hope of wanting better for themselves, and to work harder by taking an outside English class or making suggestions to a manager. It was funny, just emotional enough, and made me want this to win an Oscar to ensemble cast.
