Now this movie was just confusing. Nothing made sense if you really think about it. It lacked a good twist or at least a backstory. Yes, Josh Hartnett’s acting was good but it felt as if it was essentially “too good” for the script/movie. I think the director/writer (M. Night Shyamalan) missed out on key things that would’ve made the movie so much better. SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!…
I also felt as if he missed out a lot just by making his daughter (Saleka) a “hero” for the movie. The whole scene where she supposedly saves Spencer (if you know, you know) was in my opinion ridiculous.
Overall, I felt as if the movie had potential but refused to use it. I could talk about all the insane things that made no sense in this movie for hours, but that would just result in me saying the same thing; it wasn't totally awful, but I wouldn't watch it again.
