Loved this book, also watched the movie and it was so close to the story it made me love it just as much. It’s hard to hear about domestic abuse but this book wasn’t so shocking as it could have been . I have donated in the past to women’s shelters and will continue to do so. On another note women are not the only abused spouses or girlfriends , it happens to men as well. I had a nephew who was physically abused by his wife Physical and emotional abuse are both issues that need to be addressed in our society and there are thousands of qualified professionals who can help and guide those in need.
