If anyone from the dead space team reads this, a huge thank you. This game means a ton to me and I had set unfairly high expectations for this release, and somehow I still wasn’t prepared for how good a job you did. It fully captures the spirit of the first but adds all the quality of life you would hope for. Some people here are saying it’s just a remaster with updated graphics. Not even close to accurate. The Ishimura has undergone tons and tons of changes. Systems have been changed. The upgrade system modernized. The characters actually feel human. I can’t speak highly enough of the work done here. Still coming to grips with the fact that the motive studio pulled it off. Trying to remake a game that was as successful as dead space is usually suicide. I think if anything , this is better than the original title. Thanks again. Overjoyed about this.
