Sex and the City was a series that redefined viewer’s expectation as to what we could see on a weekly bases in the 30 minute format.
The program carried multiple story lines and was quick, witty and the actors involved could go from comedy to serious drama on the turn of a dime.
The reboot holds holds none of the previous magic and while the scenes are longer and give more dialogue to the actors, it’s at the expense of the viewer’s ear.
It’s dreadful, slow and more of a downer where as the original was always a very welcomed Sunday Night date.
