Dont listen to the review hype... I love this "style" of the Zelda series, Link to the Past, Link Between Worlds, Links Awakening...so I had high expectations going in. I got the game on release day, and first initial impression was this was going to be an amazing game with its huge map, interesting story, etc... ... that didn't last long. While the story is a good one, the gameplay gets old quick. I find myself greatly missing traditional fighting, instead of standing back and letting echoes do it all for you. Speaking of echoes.. the menu system is bit too clunky and in great need of an overhaul. Its overally complicated, in desperate need of a redesign with shortcuts, etc. As for the world map... while graphically beautiful, there's not a whole lot going on. I feel like im aimlessly wandering, just to read an over abundance of uninspiring text boxes with no action or puzzle thinking in between. Long story short.... this one has let me down. Should have stuck with the working formula Nintendo. Just my two cents...
