Amazing game. The best game ive played for a long time. The main criticisms of the game itself outside of the performance are blown to an extreme. This game is supposed to be hard and isn't supposed to hold your hand. While this may not be for everyone, I'd argue these are the game's greatest strengths. I think that even those new or that don't really like this kind of game should give it a try. From personal experience, there's such a satisfaction that you get from these soulsbourne games because of how they're designed, like beating that impossible boss or figuring out some new mechanic. This is only my second game in the franchise so I am by no means a master. Theres so much here and I'm nowhere near done. This game is a masterpiece. It deserves a 10/10. While it isn't perfect, the downsides can be fixed later and are minor in the big picture(things like frame drops and PvP balance). Ultimately it all comes down to personal preference. For what this game set out to do and for the audience its catering to(by no means is it inaccessible though, there's tons of things the game does to help you or to steer u somewhere else, you just have to LOOK either in game or in guides) Elden Ring is 10/10 and really lives up to the hype.
