It’s a fun show to watch however, they pass original artists and pick artists with recycled, and no offense, tired lines. There were a lot of excellent lyricist that weren’t recognized because, to be frank it doesn’t seem as if their music will appeal to consumers this day and age. If they weren’t talking about sex or drugs, they were roughly critiqued despite being original in their story telling. Picked some brilliant artists but overall, most of the leading contestants weren’t memorable or had something new to bring to the table. 🤷🏾‍♂️
