An intriguing and cruel story of greed and deception, highlighting the injustices done to the Indians during the age of oil discovery in the US. The star cast has acted brilliantly with DeCaprio and De Niro leading the pack. The story was very well-explained and well-paced, and while the first half was primarily focused on the exploitation of the Osage community and the people behind it, it didn’t appear that the crimes will ever get punished. The efforts of the female lead “Mollie” to get justice for her people despite her serious illness finally led to the start of federal investigations and ended with the arrest of all the culprits.
Five stars for acting, story and directions.
