Sorry but just too contrived f bombs. Seems like Sex and the City meets West Wing meets Veep. Talky almost goofy in its dialogue. Yes most people will like it. I found it preposterous and patronizing and overdone. Great scenery great keri great accents. As mentioned before - if you’re into Shonda SATC West Wing have fun. Since when does the UK have a foreign ambassador plot military interventions? If you were hoping for something real slick and edgy like The Americans this aint it. I don’t need to be reminded constantly that this show is being streamed simply bc they use an f bomb when a character feels like it. I don’t want keri Russells character as vp a heartbeat away. And yeah, the rest seem like they’re acting. You want real political drama, watch Fail Safe or The Best Man. If you want goofy political stuff try veep. Rather rewatch the Americans.

Confusing illogical nonsensical poorly directed flashbacks. Too much content leads to too many poorly handled overly derivative plots. Acting and behavior in this show just doesn’t ring true. Characters are plastic and interchangeable and not worth caring for.
