***Only watch this movie if your into cheesy and predictable movies that twelve year olds would enjoy*** I really don’t like this movie because: 1. I could literally tell what was going to happen in the end from the very start of the movie, this movie probably has the most predictable plot line ever. 2. Brooks wants to go to Yale so badly, and has worked really hard for years and years to earn his own money to go to Yale, but then at the end he ends up randomly deciding he doesn’t want to go to Yale anymore. Like, uhm, what? If he’s been spending years to save up to go to Yale, why did he randomly change his mind, and then he gave all the money he made to his dad, and let’s face it: what teenage douch like him is going to give their dad around 50,000? Not him, that’s for sure. 3. The first thing Brooks did to his major crush was lie. He told her he was super rich, which brings up another point, how can he afford all the expensive, nice clothes he wears to parties if he is supposedly ‘not rich’? And to make matters worse, the reason Shelbe broke up with Brooks if because he lied to her, and honestly I would do the same if I were her. She didn’t care how rich he was in the first place so he literally killed his own relationship. Also, in actual life, not everything works out so perfectly. Let’s face it: in real life Shelbe probably wouldn’t have even noticed Brooks at the party let alone asked him out randomly. 4. Celia says she has a crush on a guy, but when you see them talking, she’s totally not into him at all. Like what? I guess it’s to emphasize Celia and Brook’s ‘connection’,(which may I add they literally have no chemistry), but if she has liked him for years why isn’t she at least a little into him. There you go, that’s my rant, thanks for reading.
