Its ok, but not great. Some of the changes made make no sense whatsoever and add nothing to the narrative. I liked the added a reason for Perrin to hate the axe. It made no sense that the profesies were not followed. Perrin having no guide to the wolf dream. Rand going alone to the eye and no pool of power made no sense. Making Moraine and Sanche lovers adds nothing. They made Mat a bad friend. He was super supportive and back to his foolish pranking self after the knife. The ways did not need an aes sedai to open. Anybody could use them, which was part of the point of Fain and Trollocs being able to use them. The horn was inside the eye and pool, which added to the understanding that it had to happen that way for the final battle to be later. Rand starts to learn the sword later with Lan, so he couldnt leave. So many many unesesary changes which didnt add to the main story. I hope they fix them in S2. Or they are gonna loose people.
