This book started off okay as an easy beach read but as the story progressed, I started laughing to myself (and not in a good way) at the absurdity of the relationship between all the characters. Maybe people are more trusting and friendly in Virginia but in my experience, it takes months and years to form close friendships and bonds in the same way that Naomi was able to form them in a matter of a few weeks. The fact that the whole town was mad at Knox over someone they barely knew - Naomi - struck me as completely unrealistic, which left me to stop being invested in the characters.
Too many different storylines and too many characters. The idea was a good one for a plot but unfortunately, it went south for me. Two stars.
