A story containing either of Time travel, alternate dimensions or Schrodingers cat might be enough to dismantle a good plot on its own with multiple loopholes.
Now, try to imagine something that incorporates all of the above concepts together in one story, and executes it flawlessly coupled with the most beautiful ending ever seen in sci-fi history. Sounds impossible? Probably yes, but that's Dark.
