The premise of “Suits” grabbed me immediately. The first two seasons were great, but I’m struggling to make it through season 3.
Season 3 reminds me of the “Soap Operas” that always came on in the early afternoon when I was an adolescent. After the noon news, it was all about posturing, personalities, and vindictiveness.
If they would toss in some more of the court room drama that grabbed me in the first two seasons, they might keep me as a viewer. So far, it’s not looking so good.
If this show were not available in its entirety, it might be different, and I would tune in every week to see what unfolds… edge of my seat all the while.
Binge watching kills the anticipation and makes the patterns of production more obvious. The same shots… the same people… the same petty arguments.
I’ll keep trying and may later amend my review. For now, I will recommend the first two seasons… after that, expect to be bored and disappointed.
