Absolutely loved this show. Watched the first 5 episodes in one sitting and had to force myself to at least save the last episodes for another time for my own sake. Wasn't ready to let go of the characters just yet. The plot was great, the setting, the actors, even the pacing especially for the first 6 episodes. Those were really good. the last 2 however, not so much since they spent so much time hugely focused on politics and less on the romance or anything else that really mattered. The leads did share a few moments, and there was a visible attraction between them but that was it. Their love story wasn't developed at all. A lot of missing pieces. But that can easily be fixed with a season 2 that fleshes out their relationship, so I hope that's what they do. It also felt like they wanted to cram the whole story into 8 episodes which kinda ruined it in some parts. It probably would have been better if it'd been stretched out to 10 episodes for proper closure of all the storylines bc so many never got closure. Just forgotten. Nevertheless, this is still one of my favorite kdramas at the moment. Would totally recommend! ps: loveeee the theme song!!!
