If there will be no Emmy nominations for this whole crew, producers, directors, Mohammed Diab, and actors; for everyone involved, I will be very dissapointed. The work put into this project is amazing. I can feel the love and care they put into the story. The writing is funny, but not too stupid, you know, when superhero movies try too hard to be funny but use stupid jokes all the time? They don't do that here!
And mental health issues presented in this tv show, in this genre, are handled with care, so thank you, thank you so much for this.
The acting of everyone here is sublime, especially the main trio of Ethan Hawke, May Calamawy and Oscar Isaac. Oscar Isaac Hernandez Estrada, this man needs his own Oscar, I don't know how the process goes but he should, he must get it. Or Emmy? I am so sorry, I don't know.
At the moment of writing this review, the fifth episode b already aired, and it broke my heart into million pieces. Honestly, I am scared to watch the finale.
