What a send off to a series! This film truly delivers all the hype it was getting. The emotional ride that this film takes you on is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming. The underlying theme of family really makes you care about this family we've seen develop over the past decade. The way the film delves deep into Rocket's origins really makes you feel emotional, with his grand escape having you root for him the entire time! The High Evolutionary was a phenomenal, with Chukwudi Iwuji definitely bringing the character to life. The constant threat of the villain really kept us wondering if the lives of the any of the guardians was at stake. With all the promotional footage hinting that a character was going to die, it kept us on the absolute egde of our seats. Every moment where they became closer to losing, made our hearts wrench. And watching Rocket's horrific orgin story allowed the climax to be all the more vengeful. The movie was a beautiful culmination of the story of the Guardians of the Glaxy, with huge props going to James Gunn.
