Ive watched supernatural 16 times start to finish. I’m very aware of the timeline and to me more than any or the other issues of the show it could have been more salvageable if they’d kept at least part of the history of their parents that we see in supernatural accurate. It seems to me that they wanted to just make money off the fans of supernatural and didn’t care if they messed up the timeline or changed dates of events or any of that. Quite disappointing honestly. People saying “I love supernatural” and then saying they like the winchesters feels to me like they didn’t really pay attention to the story or the characters in supernatural. It’s missing it’s history and it’s heart.
