Remington Montag

Let me be clear: this is going to be VERY quick. I think Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is a wonderful new take on O'Malley's graphic novel. The live action movie was a slightly-concise retelling of the original story. Takes Off, is an alternate universe scenario that truly explores the other characters. Don't worry, Scott still makes an appearance, we are just taken into a new perspective. While I agree with some complaints about how different the series is progressing, the fact that the author of Scott Pilgrim is supervising this project makes it all better since it is his choice on where the series goes. So pretty much: good bringing old voice actors back, story is pretty awesome, love the character development, some references to the original source material, and overall a series I would recommend.

This was the best live action anime I have seen. Netflix had some bad ones, like Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note, but this one wipes the floor with them. Sure they changed the story a bit, but characters and the overall world building is still in place. Oda even oversaw production, which definitely helped! We need a season 2!
