I binge-watched this show and despite the rave-reviews, I found that it lacked substance. Every show featured the main-criminal escaping capture because apparently, the FBI likes to confront criminals alone or, in insufficient numbers or, every criminal has the ability to not only spit an Agent 50ft away,, they possess the ability to sprint like a track-star and evade capture. On the other hand, Reddington is the consummate anti-hero and his deliciously sarcastic quips carry the show but eventually, Lizzie Keen's quirks and the FBI's constant lack of sufficient personnel during high-stakes operations will make you wonder why you're watching this show in the first place (the answer will be:Reddington). In short, the show's formulaic-pattern, which is probably not noticed if you're not binging, was a huge turn-off.
