I like the actors but they screwed up everything else. Why ruin good stoy telling with bad scripts. Instead of calling the show dark winds and making Hillerman fans think they were getting his stuff, they should have changed the name and said loosely based off of his storyline and I do mean loosely.

What a mess. They completely lost the characters. I barely made through the first episode. How completely sad. If you are a fan of the books and truly understand them you will hate this as much as I did.

If you read the books this is a horrible thing to have done to Anne Rice's story and characters. The only thing in common is some of the names and places. It is loosely based on a marvelous trilogy , that should have been done justice or left alone.
