I was really excited to watch NCIS Hawaii because I absolutely love the original NCIS. I, also, miss Hawaii 5 O terribly and was looking forward to some beautiful scenery and seeing the interaction with the locals. Unfortunately, it was no where near as good as I was hoping. Right from the beginning it was a bit far fetched when they sent a helicopter to pick up Jane from the soccer practice she was coaching. Everyone was told to get off the field so the helicopter could land. Seriously? Another unfortunate part, there were a few, is when the police were portrayed as complete jerks. Not cool. The actors seemed like they were just reading their lines, hopefully this will improve. The infamous "kissing scene" was a little odd, I will admit. It seems they just threw it in for good measure. You could obviously tell that there was some sort of tension between the two characters, but the storyline for them could have built up instead of "Bam!" here it is. We are going to watch a couple more episodes and see where they go. Hopefully it will improve.

I was terribly disappointed with this movie. I saw the trailer for it, and I wasn't interested in watching it, but my boyfriend wanted to see it. I found the last 20 minutes to be the best part of the entire movie. Not good when it runs 2 hours. I look forward to the humor in the Thor movies , but this one was like watching small skits for a comedy show and no one was that funny. It had a few humorous moments, but most of it was pretty stupid. I wasn't too keen on seeing Jane as Thor either. Although the premise for this was mildly interesting, still there is only one Thor. Also, The Guardians of The Galaxy could have had better parts in the storyline, which by-the-way, there wasn't much of one, and a longer collaboration. I wish we would have gone to the movie I picked for my birthday. Don't waste your money. Wait until it comes out on Disney+.
