I was in Iran in May 2016 when everyone there was sure Clinton would be elected President and were so happy anticipating a better relationship with the US. The people as we saw, love Americans, are so friendly. They are excited to talk to Americans and practice their English. It is a wondrous country, so rich in history. Rick's program makes me want to return again. The sanctions are very hard on those who can't afford medicines, etc., but the wealthy are not affected much which might be part of the reason those in power stay in power.

I always watch CBS Mornings (as well as the same on the weekends) and really like their more in depth reporting and covering many subjects that are outside the box. But I also switch over to the Today Show where there seems to be a much better collegial feeling. Today (10/15), this was present on CBS because Gail wasn't there. She is very talented, and I know she is the main person according to her new contract, but she comes off as the Queen Bee with her acolytes. The discussions and presentations today were much more interesting and fun (when appropriate) because all three journalists were contributing TOGETHER, not waiting for the final word on high. The positive energy among the three was very different. I think you need to change something!

I have CBS morning news for years because I think they focus more on "news" than NBC (a close second) and especially ABC. But since Gayle has because the main anchor, she acts like THE queen bee with her little acolytes. Since she has been away, the atmosphere is so much more positive and more "equal". For me, a perfect anchor team would be Tony, Anthony, and Michelle (she has such good energy) with Vlad doing his part. As an aside, several of my friends who also watch CBS feel the same way....we have a lot more time to discuss things on Zoom now that the Pandemic is here.
