Absolutely not…. No way. Do not watch this show, major waste of time. If you’re into historical fiction types of shows like me, maybe you were drawn to this series. Let me correct you in that it is 30% historical fiction and 70% utterly ridiculous fantasy. I watched the first 20 minutes and had high hopes. Once I watched a servant magically turn into a hawk before Jane’s eyes, it all went downhill. It’s a disgrace to the real Lady Jane Grey, whose life was nothing as fantastical as the Jane portrayed here. Not to mention that the REAL Jane did NOT have a happy ending. What kind of historical lesson is this show teaching? So, if you’re not into it for the historical aspect, go ahead. Otherwise, you’d be better off banging your head into a wall.
