A brilliant and intelligent extraterrestrial horror film in the leagues of close encounters. Jordan Peele brings complexity, subtle metaphors and fresh perspectives. Themes of Hollywood exploitation, especially of black actors, come through brilliantly. The movie is entertaining throughout and filled with ties to close encounters, ET and some of the other great extraterrestrial films. Absolutely recommend if you enjoy complex movies and Jordan Peeler’s work!
