A trusted Western formula with an unusual angle that introduces a new weapon - the art of kick-boxing to down the baddies. With lots of fight scenes, a romance interest and scenes of the harsh landscape it's an entertaining 88 minutes.

A taught action movie set during one Christmas in Washington when riots have broken out in the city and danger is everywhere. The skills of British Special Air Services Officer Shane Alcott (Gary Daniels) are called upon for a deadly operation to rescue the daughter of the British Ambassador who has been kidnapped. Alcott has his own interests in the rescue having at one time been romantically involved with the hostage (Paige Rowland). Helicopter pilot Major Williams (Sugar Ray Leonard) dispatches the SAS commando but his role in the movie is short-lived, coming to grief under enemy fire. There's plenty of fight action with some tender moments. Worth watching for fans of the military style action thriller.
