I assumed they might depart from the canon of all the novels, games and fan work but it gives an experience where one did not exist. I can accept most of it but I am hung up on the xenophobic Covenant having a Human in any authority position... weird and a real challenge for the writers to overcome in a 9 segment season. Good with the CGI, Meh on the music need more story depth quick before loose us all...
