For streaming or watching at home it's decent, but it would have been a disappointment in theaters. This movie kind of ruins the second movie and because Bill and Ted are older feels out of place. Kudos for getting a lot of the original cast, but somehow this still has that straight to DVD straight to video feel. You know those straight to DVD sequels with basically none of the original cast that uses the franchise names as a cash grab even though it's not nearly as good as the original. Well it feels kind of like that only they got the original Actors which makes the plot and fact it feels that way kind of unfortunate. Making Bill and Ted's kids daughters instead of sons like they was supposed to be according to Bogus Journey was obviously part of the recent rise of wanting more feminine power in films although it doesn't really work here if they wanted that they could have gave the princesses bigger rolls. I did enjoy the throwbacks and it wasn't a bad film just not that great.
