If you are reading reviews before watching the movie, I would only recommend it for people with very low demands, for example if you just want to find something to pass time and relax at the end of a long day without having to think much.
It requires for you to have to suspend your disbelief.... a lot! Especially at the end. But it will do.
If you are looking for a story with a plot that makes sense and is credible abandon all hopes ๐คฃ
Spoilers below:
At first it seemed OK, even though I really can't stand the main actor with his ridiculous '70s mustache ๐คฃ he is insipid and has the charisma of a dead leaf. He has one facial expression and he seems like he is on Valium.
Aside from that aspect it was a bit mysterious at the beginning even though I could not understand what all the technology was and how it was possible. It didn't make any sense to me but it's fiction.
Toward middle it became a bit boring and repetitive, with the two main characters alternatively getting up from their table every 5 minutes with ridiculous excuses. I sincerely don't know any man who would sit through a date like that, at some point a normal person would figure out that something weird is going on. But let's ignore that as well.
The waiter was extremely annoying and I don't even know why it was included in the movie since he acted like a circus character, unless he was looking to be fired. His Persona didn't make any sense in the movie anyway. Unnecessary.
There was a little bit of suspense while the female lead character was trying to identify the villain, but then the ending completely obliterated whatever little positive there was in this movie.
It was one unbelievable thing after another, if I rolled my eyes one more time they would have fallen out of my head.
I am to believe that a woman is hanging out of a skyscraper which look like 50 floors above the ground by a flimsy curtain is then saved by a wounded male character, and right after she has no trauma no stress no shaky legs, and proceeds to drive at high speed without crashing all the way home while the Killer is waiting for her to arrive instead of killing the family. It makes absolutely no sense. The killer was already in the house with ample time to kill the two defenseless family members which were a small child and a skinny woman but no he was still there waiting.
Said professional killer is then defeated by two skinny women with no weapons and a little five-year-old with a remote control car ๐คฃ๐คฃ
If that's the story you like to believe you will probably enjoy this movie.
Unfortunately for me I don't have the capacity for such a high level of suspension of belief.
