This book should be on every reading list, especially in the context of a reading group. It could help to explore the roots and stories of cultural beginnings. Along the way the author cites other helpful research that complicates such ideas as Clovis as a beginning point and explores some problems with the generalities which have tended to simplify the indigenous experience in North America. She helpfully examines settler mythologies and compares them with origen stories of native people I love this book.
