I think this is should be aimed at 12+, not 9+.
Children don't like it as it is not pleasant for them to watch.
Apart from that, I think it is aimed at teenagers as they enjoy watching it as well as I do.
I get the statistics because I tested this with teenagers and young children.
The young children think this is unpleasant (as previously mentioned)
The teenagers don't seem to mind.
The adults? A bit of both.
But fortunately, it is very disappointing that the show lasted for only 4 years, 2010 to 2014.
