I am a huge fan of the Deadpool and wolverine characters. Waited 5+ years for this movie. Unfortunately I found this movie to be underwhelming. Plot was kinda stupid. The only way this movie tied into the first 2 movies was at Wade's birthday party with most of the characters from the 2nd movie. No Weasel, even though he was portrayed as Wade's best friend in the other 2 movies. Buck/fat Gandalf was there but no Weasel...stupid. They gave Peter more of a role, and brought back Shatterstar as an extra at Wade's birthday party, even though he was pureed in the 2nd Deadpool movie by helicopter blades. He was no longer with Vanessa. From the last movie was kinda expecting to see them with at least 1 kid or her pregnant. Didn't happen. So not really any love interest for motivation in this one like the other 2 movies. He just mildly had to save all the people he loved, aka the people who showed up for his party. Wolverine was added in for some amazing fight scenes and comedic exchanges with Deadpool - the only good parts of the movie. Other characters were added in from other non-related Marvel movies, making it look like they were added because the actors needed some money. Blade, Electra, Johnny Storm, the original Sabertooth, Pyro, Toad, Gambit, x-23/Laura, tiny Juggernaut. Basically the movie would have gotten the same results without them in it and bunch of soldier extras in their place. All of the extra deadpools at the end were so stupid. Again, they could have been replaced by soldier extras and gotten the same action sequence. Dogpool was cute but also not necessary, more like a running joke in the movie, that showed the dog loved licking people. Over all, it was kind of good, kind of a let down and over hyped for what it turned out to be. Not gonna even go there with the "Mad Max" wanna be "Void" universe and stupid portrayal of Cassandra Nova not even interacting with her brother, Charles Xavier who was mentioned more than once but wasn't in the movie.
