As a lover of Jane Austen's writing I tend to watch all versions of her work that gets adapted. If you love periods pieces with a modern flair then this is one to watch. Dakota Johnson is magnificent and I loved her in every moment. It is beautifully directed by Carrie Cracknell and the touches of present day language makes it feel more timeless. Thank You Netflix for allowing writers Ron Bass and Alice Victoria Winslow to create such a masterpiece. I will watch this as many time as I watch Emma Thompson's 1995 version of Sense and Sensibility.
